You can refer to the Academic Calendar in regards to deadlines and keeping your document submissions up to date. Please Note that new students normally register during orientation.

You have access in viewing the community posts, however you need to create an account via the Sign up page before you have access to that option. Please sign up and join the community!
Q: How can I contact people for the events?
You can get in touch with community leaders and the event hosts by email or visiting their events page Community Events
Q: Where can I find someone to help guide me if I do not know the language that well?
There are many students on campus that may speak your language! Make a post in the Community Forums and connect with people today!
Q: How do I get around the city being a foreign student?
Students can see their location and event locations by viewing the Map .Any further questions can be handled by the community offices.
Q: How do I apply for Financial Aid?
File your Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act Application. The application opens on October 1 each year. File by the priority deadline, March 2, leading into the Fall semester. The current application period is 2023-2024 for Spring/Summer 2024.
Q: How much does it cost to live on the campus?
The housing plan for students will be dependent on various selections that students can choose from. You can view the cost here Housing Plan and Cost
Q: Can I get assistance on filling out various forms?
If you can understand English pretty well, Sacramento State has various Videos and Tutorials. You can also get support from the Student Service Center.
